“Bora
Bora”
There
were no raging channels at Bora Bora, but their is plenty to enjoy
both above and below the water’s surface. One of our first dives
was a shark feeding dive! Lemon and reef sharks swam within inches
of us as they played out the feeding frenzy. Benjamin, a native
Frenchman and one of our dive masters, actually tormented the
smaller sharks by grabbing their fins as they swam by.
It was obvious who was boss! We meet a huge sea turtle with 2
hitchhiking ramoras attached and spotted a small group of eagle
rays. Perhaps the most ‘fun’ encounter was with the numerous
‘Clown Fish’ hovering over a group of sea anemones. Their bright
colors and protective ways delighted us all for quite some time.
